Education in AAC
What are the continuing education workshops?
Occasionally, the Department of Communication Disorders at Penn State will offer workshops designed
for interested professionals in the community to further their education in AAC. Workshops are
centered around specific topics. Topics that have been offered in the past include "Building
Communicative Competence for Individuals Who Require AAC" and "Communicative Approaches to Managing
Challenging Behaviors Using AAC Applications".
