Assessment and Intervention in AAC at the Penn State Speech and Hearing Clinic

How are services funded?

Funding Sources:
  • Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Geisinger Health Plan (HMO)
  • Private Pay
As the Penn State Speech Language Clinic is a teaching clinic, assessments and intervention are planned and conducted by graduate students in the Department of Communication Disorders and are supervised by an ASHA certified speech language pathologist. Consultation with PhD faculty with expertise in the area of AAC is available. An occupational therapist and other related professionals will also be involved in the assessment as required.
