Fees for the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic

The Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic is a fee-for-service clinic. Services are provided to the general public at competitive rates. Discounted rates are available to Penn State students. A sliding fee scale is available for those that meet financial eligibility requirements. The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Geisinger Health Plan (GHP) are the only approved third-party payors. If you have GHP, you must bring a referral from your primary care physician and your insurance card to the assessment. To learn the amount of your co-pay, contact your GHP representative.
For all other payor sources, the client is responsible for payment to the clinic for services rendered, then submitting billing sheets to the payor source for personal reimbursement.
